My Philosophy
Is to ensure every child while in my care has a fun and positive experience in a supportive environment that gives each child a sense of wellbeing. Providing warm and trusting relationships, that promotes self-confidence in every child, and to assist in the ability to socialise, concentrate and learn.
To provide children with the foundations for their growing independence and maturation throughout their lives
Child Development and Interactions
I will endeavour to stimulate and develop all aspects of each child. provide a balance of activities with free choice, individual and group time, provide developmentally appropriate equipment and maintain regular high quality communication between children, Parents and myself. Also to ensure interactions with children are guided towards positive & responsible behaviour, while maintaining the dignity, rights and self-esteem of each child.
Behaviour Guidance: At Alicia's FDC a positive reinforcement approach is used in supporting your child and no physical or emotional punishment is used. If there is any behavioural issues regarding your child I will discuss these with you so we can achieve a supportive outcome for your child.
